Chorizo in Cider Share this recipe

  • 4 cooking chorizo (sliced into chunks)
  • some olive oil
  • 1 bottle of El Gaitero Spanish cider
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Fry the chorizo in olive oil until brown on both sides. Drain off some of the fat.

  2. Pour on the cider and simmer until the cider has reduced and combined with chorizo juices to form gravy.

  3. Season with salt and pepper. Serve in a tapas dish with gravy poured over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
