Edinburgh Shop

The Edinburgh shop opened in 1991. After closing the Legendary Pachuko Cantina one of Scotland’s pioneering Mexican Joints we embarked on a yearlong trip across America and down through Mexico collecting information and inspiration.

. Lupe Pintos Deli opened to supply Scotland with hard to find Mexican and American ingredients and through the years has evolved to include Spanish goods and hard to find spices and hot sauces from around the world. As well as providing groceries we also supply information, through 3 cookbooks and leaflets and on a daily basis on a one to one basis. If you want 100% authentic goods chosen for flavour and quality Lupe Pintos is the place for you. We serve customers from all over Edinburgh and central Scotland with many visits from over the bridge right up to Aberdeen and to the North of England

2001 / Present

Glasgow Shop

The Glasgow shop opened in 2001. The Edinburgh shop had been opened for a decade and included in the customer base a growing crowd of Glasgow folk travelling through to stock up so we gave them their own shop.

The West End was the obvious choice, the Kelvin Bridge Area is close to the City centre, very close to the underground station and on Great Western Road the main artery north to the Many folk that travel into Glasgow from Argyllshire, Oban and the North West of Scotland. Our customers come from all over the West and Central belt of Scotland as far down as the Scottish Borders and North of England.
